The National NGO Forum of Azerbaijan organized a Side Event within the framework of the “Second Annual Global Summit on Forecasting a Healthy Future,” which took place in Baku on June 18, 2024.
During the event, local NGOs met with representatives of foreign organizations, experts, and international foundations participating in the summit.
They discussed the prospects for cooperation on issues that could contribute to the process of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
The purpose of the meeting was to exchange knowledge and experience related to global health and COP29 with international/foreign civil societies and NGOs of Azerbaijan working on health and climate issues. It aimed to foster dialogue to create cooperative and partnership initiatives for working towards a sustainable environment, as well as to contribute to the process and outcomes of COP29 by strengthening networking with international organizations.
